    Delicious food with a cozy touch

    I was actually surprised by the good Sunday roast and how well the staff catered to my dietary needs. The cozy setting with real fires created an inviting atmosphere.

    The bed in my room was comfy, and the newly decorated touches made it feel clean and fresh.

    The room was cold, with a thin duvet and a lack of soundproofing that let me hear the couple next door having a domestic. The corridor had a noticeable smell from the pub toilets, and I was also woken early by noise from upstairs. The kettle had no nearby socket. Finding my way inside at night was stressful since the pub closed early and it took me a while to navigate a dark corridor.
